László Tóth made his debut last weekend in the FIA Formula 3 championship on Circuit de Catalunya, where the first race of the series were held as the official support series of the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix.
The 20 years old driver was able to increase his pace from Friday to Sunday and besides that his lap times were faster and faster he finished all three races during the weekend.
„Of course I learned a lot and gained many many experiences on my first F3 race weekend. It was great to feel how much grip we had after the Formula 1 cars and overall I was satisfied with our constant performance throughout the weekend. On Race 3 I was able to do some decent lap times and it was a nice feeling too. I think we have a good basis with the team and we know what to do to keep improving” – said Tóth.
The hungarian driver of Campos Racing qualified himself to P27 on Friday and finished Race 1 on the same position with ending Race 2 on P23 and Race 3 on P26.
The next round of the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship will be held on June 25-27 as the support series of the Formula 1 French Grand Prix.
