László Tóth had a weekend to forget in Barcelona where the third round of the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship were held.
The 21 year-old hungarian driver of Charouz Racing System had some problems with his car’s steering wheel over Friday’s free practice and then qualified himself only to the back of the grid.
Saturday’s Sprint Race didn’t went well for Tóth as he had a collision with a rival a few laps after the start. As a result Tóth slowed down for the next 2 laps and then he only concentrated on finishing the race.
On Sunday’s Feature Race the pace was there for the hungarian driver who was able to improve six positions and finished on P23.
„I have mixed feelings after a very hot weekend, where we could not have a better Saturday and Sunday after a very unlucky and bad Friday. We are preparing now for Silverstone, hoping that we will have a race weekend without problems there” – said Tóth.
The 2022 F3 season will continue on the first weekend of July in Silverstone as support race of the 2022 Formula One British Grand Prix.
