László Tóth started preparing in Spain for his home race three weeks before the fourth round of the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship which will be held at the Hungaroring.
Campos Racing’s 21 years old driver raced two years ago last time in Hungary but at that time he was competing in the italian F4 championship.
„I’m very happy that I have the chance to come back to Hungaroring as the only hungarian driver of the FIA F3 Championship. I’m also grateful that the spectators can finally come back to the stands and will cheer for us, which is a fantastic experience especially when you’re racing in front of your home crowd.”
Tóth was unable to take part on the second race weekend due to Covid-illnes but then he came back with a strong performance in Austria, fighting in the middle pack on Race 1 and 2.
„We know that there is lot do for us but you cannot say that we, as a team, are not working hard. I spend the last three weeks before Hungaroring in Spain, at Campos Racing, preparing physically and mentally for the next round. We have some work to do with the setup of the car and I will also drive a lot in the simulator. We are working hard to get closer to the points but it’s not an easy job although we try our best. I’m looking forward to Hungaroring because I proudly represent my country in this series even if this is only my learning year in F3” – said Tóth.
