László Tóth scores 2 points with a P10 finish at Barcelona

A difficult and though weekend ended luckily for László Tóth at Barcelona, where the 20 years old hungarian driver finished officialy on P10 of the second race of the weekend and scored two championship points.

The field had the chance to try the setups for the weekend on Thursday and the official program started on Friday morning with two free practices.

Tóth and his team had to solve some issues with the tires and the setup of the car but the first qualifying on Saturday morning did not went well for the hungarian who ended the session on P17. On the race in the afternoon Tóth managed to earn one position and saw the chequered flag on P16.

On Sunday the weather was much warmer then on the previous 2-3 days and the field started the qualifying in the morning in sunny circumstances.

The three cars of Bhaitech Racing qualified themselves to the last two rows of the grid. The race itself was full of overtakings, accidents and collisions but Tóth managed to escape all of them and finished on P12.  After the race two drivers received 5 seconds time penalty and as a result of this Tóth finished officialy on P10 but received 2 championship points instead of 1 because of a guest driver as his result did not count on the championship.

The Formula Renault Eurocup 2020 season will continue two weeks later on the famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
