László Tóth started his racing career at the age of 13. During the first few years he was gathering experience and routine with karting.

First he was racing with the kart in Hungary, afterwards he raced in the german championship and in Euro Challenge.

During the early stages of his career he decided to choose other route than the majority of the hungarian racing drivers and soon he was working with foreign experts starting to collect as much as he can regarding the journey that leads to formula racing and about the basics of that, karting.

In 2013,2014 and 2015 he was mostly racing in the hungarian karting championship, but in the second and third year he was already involved in german championship and in Euro Challenge.

His best year from the karting times was 2016, because in this year Laci raced in FIA Karting European Championship, and finished third in junior category on Rotax Winter Cup and won the Rotax Euro Final among juniors.

The new challenge for him came in 2017 when he started to compete in World Series Karting with DR Racing Kart Team in KZ2 category. Meanwhile he raced in FIA Karting European Championship and FIA Karting World Championship.

After five years of karting the time has come for reaching the next level and Laci entered the Formula 4 category. At first in 2018 he started to compete in the Italian F4 Championship with the portugese DR Formula, but left the team after three rounds.

He changed team, country and championship and for the rest of the season he was driving for dutch MP Motorsport in the Spanish F4 Championship. He was racing on five of the six weekends finishing 11th with 47 points.

For the 2019 season he stayed in Formula 4 but changed country again and competed in the German F4 Championship with the french R-ace GP.

In this year he was struggling a little bit and while he was many times close to score points, in the end it happened only once.

In November, 2019 the first FIA Motorsport Games, the olyimpics of motorsport was held in Rome and on the Vallelunga Circuit.

The Hungarian National Motorsport Federation entered László Tóth in Formula 4 where all 20 cars were equal and technically supported by KCMG.

Hungary’s and the hungarian racing fans’ attention was turned to Laci during this event as he achieved the best result of the hungarian team that was consisted of six drivers. Laci finished 4th on the qualifying race of the Formula 4 category and reached the chequered flag as 7th on the main race.

The year 2020 brought an other step up for the 20 years old whose career was managed years ago by All Road Management’s Go Purple programme.

The italian BhaiTech Racing Team announced in February that László Tóth will be one of their drivers in Formula Renault Eurocup.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Formula Renault Eurocup season can not start as planned, but later the organizers published a modified calendar with the first weekend to be held on 10-11 July in Monza.
