Ambiguous weekend for Tóth at Hungaroring

László Tóth had an ambiguous race weekend on his home race at Hungaroring where luck also did not stand on his side.

The 21 years old hungarian driver of Campos Racing had a difficult qualifying session on Friday as he was not able to run a proper fast lap due to the traffic on track.

For Tóth the second race of the weekend went well as he managed to improve and earned six positions compared to his place on the starting grid.

  • „It was an ambiguous weekend with an unlucky accident at the end. On the third race I felt that I have the space to bypass the car that was crossing the track but he suddenly pushed the brakes and stand on the center of the track so I had no chance to avoid the collision. The pace was only good on the second and third race, but we could have had a bit more luck on qualifying and on the last race with that accident. Nevertheless I was very happy to see how many spectators came to see me and cheer me so I would like to thank everyone who were there and supported me”

– said Tóth after the weekend.

The FIA Formula 3 season will continue at Spa-Francorchamps on the last weekend of August after the summer break.
